Starlink is a constellation of thousands of satellites that orbit the planet much closer to Earth, at about 550km, and cover the entire globe.
The project was launched by Elon Musk and started under the umbrella of SpaceX. It aims to provide global broadband connectivity, everywhere on earth.
Starlink primarily focuses on delivering high-speed, low-latency broadband internet in remote and rural locations globally. It is made possible via the world’s largest constellation of highly advanced satellites operating in a low orbit around the Earth
